For Malaika, Chileshe, and Temweni, performing together feels pretty natural, they’ve been doing it most of their lives.
What started as three sisters who loved to sing has grown into performances on some pretty incredible stages. Their harmonies, different personalities, and genuine connection are all part of what makes The Mwango Sisters who they are.
Whether they’re standing on a theatre stage, singing the National Anthem in front of thousands of fans, or harmonizing together at home, the best part is that they get to experience it together.

When they’re not at the ballpark…
There’s a pretty good chance you’ll find them in a theatre.
The sisters are active musical theatre performers with Northwest Theatre Lab, with credits including; Shrek Jr, Something Rotten!, 42nd Street, Junie B. Jones, Once on This Island, Trolls Jr. and Sister Act Jr. Chileshe has also appeared in Hairspray with Tacoma Musical Playhouse.
